The Discovery Programme

The Discovery Programme is a formal induction programme designed to support you from the moment you accept your job offer right through to the end of your first three months at HSBC. The programme is made up of lots of different elements. This website itself is one of them. Others include:

• The Discovery JournalA workbook for you to refer to throughout your induction journey
• Introduction activitiesDuring your first few weeks, activities arranged by your line manager and new colleagues will help you gain a fuller understanding of life at HSBC.
• E-learning modulesThere will be a suite of these for you to complete in your first few weeks. They are designed to help you learn everything you need to know about HSBC.
• The Discovery EventAround two months after you start in your role, we will arrange for you to attend a one-day induction event. The purpose of the event is to help you consolidate everything you have learned in your opening weeks and to meet others who are also new to the organisation.
